Age of Conan Roleplay

Greetings to those of the Age of Conan role playing community!

I googled up AoC roleplay and was lead here, so I thought a "dedicated" site to role play would be the best place to ask my questions about the game, and its current RP status, etc.

I've RPed for years, but always seemed to wander from place to place... mostly because I don't encounter very many good RPers much at all... However I like the story and idea behind Age of Conan and would love to get to grips with, learn about it and its players. The question that raises in my mind is that... Is there a honest, seriously active RP community on Age of Conan? I myself get pretty dedicated to RP and do get on as much as I can between important real-world happenings (which is still fairly often). I've noticed that the time between posting is lengthly so it has shook my faith in the game and its community... If a current RPer here could reassure me that there is a community and healthy amount of activity? I would have no issue with getting back into the game, forging a sound story, and getting back into the world of Conan.

PS- Not even a large community is required... I much rather prefer a group of like-minded, dedicated individuals to a hording mass, myself.

Like any RP community, the more you invest the more you get out of it. I'd say we have a solid group though, a few great culture based guilds and most of the major guilds at least respect the idea of an RP server. Now that the honeymoon is over with the expantion, the RP hubs are filling up again. Usually about 10 tp 20 in each of the inns on the weekend. Come join the fun!

I'm definitely considering it, I liked the game. It is just unlike WoW where you can run around and meet everyone and make friends that easily, a lot more involved, I believe. I'm going to come look at it again though... Getting tired of those flaming, floating rock shoulder pads...
