Lady Zaraseret of Luxur, cousin of Pharaoh Ctesiphon, presides over the House of the Bright Snake (Hedj Djet) from her palace in Stygia's great capital. Unlike the other lotus dreaming nobles she is fully awake and curious about the world. At twenty-six she has taken the lead as the scion of her House and made it her business to personally run the various components that continue the family's wealth and works to cement their power in Stygia. Establishing a presence on Akhet Isle in the port city when she is not in Luxur, she pursues her family's interests and her own.

The details: The guild structure is quite loose. This is to be a true Stygian culture guild. Only Stygians need apply though Zaraseret will ideally also have an elite guard of DTs who have converted to either Set and/or Dereketo worship and have sworn allegiance to Hedj Djet. All other character races will be slaves.

Hello all.  A few of my guildmates and I have come over to AoC on the Wiccana server and I've seen several posts pointing folks to here, although there doesn't seem to have been any activity in the last several months.  Is there another site folks are using these days?

I was pleased to see some RP going down in the Serpent's Head Inn (I think that's the name of it!) and I'm looking forward to meeting some of you folks in character as I delve into the lore and flesh out a backstory.

After a great deal of consideration, I've decided to re-open donations for the RP-Haven family of websites to try to defray some of the cost of keeping the server going.  If you'd like to contribute to the fund, just click the 'donate' link above and fill out the information requested (the process requires use of paypal... I don't have the capacity to take credit card payments directly).  Any amount you can contribute would be extremely welcome.

The site(s) currently costs $359 per year to run.  If we reach that number before the bill comes due again next April, I will remove the donate link.  I'm not looking to make a profit here, just defray the costs a bit to those who might want to contribute.

I am returning back to the game after a year or so. And I find myself alone. I made two toons with a friend whom of course no longer plays. After spending a few days ont he forums, trying to get in contact with people from various guilds with little to no luck. (Mostly the no.) I decided to make a little post, in hopes to see if anyone is interested in any of my toons to develope rp with.

My highest level which is 75 is a bear shaman. She is the wandering sort, and doesnt fit in well with most Cimmarians as she carries the taint of scarlet hair, due to her mother being taken in a raid by the Vanir. She has a good heart with a gruff exterior. I am very rusty playing her thus far. But would love to fall in with some cimmarians or some other mixed group.

Hello, everyone! I recently returned to the game after... a very long time. The RP guild I belonged to has lost its pulse entirely. I've been searching for a new home.... but there seems to be little life left on Wiccana. Where has all the RP gone?

Hey everyone, it's good to be back!

  I was an officer in the Gray Order back in the pre-launch days under the name Fayore.  I'm looking forward to coming back for the long-haul :) .  How is the RP community holding up? Where is the strongest community these days? Also, my friend and I were intreagued by the new server rule-set coming out next month and are interested in giving it a shot.  Will any individuals (or guilds) be moving over there?

He stood admist the still warm corpses, a sea of blood at his feet. In his hand, he held a massive blade, simple in it's design. The flames of candles, flickered and danced as if demons skirting the boundaries of the darkness in the center of the temple. Daeyong, slowly took in deep breaths as the realization of what he had done came to bear on his mind. Slaves, women and children, struck by his hand lay butchered all around him. It wasn't their deaths that caused this momentary pause, but the thought of the next step in this grim ritual. With a shaking hand, he cast the blade carelessly aside to clank upon the blood soaked stone of the temple floor. Kneeling, he reached for the small vial dangling from his belt. "My Lord Yun, Master of the Underworld, God of demons. I humbly offer this pittance of blood and souls in search of your favor...and now, my master. I offer you my own life.

In the calm hours of the morning, Daeyong stood in the center of his courtyard. Slowly, his eyes wandered about his estate as he stood at rest, his hands resting against the small of his back, one hand gripping the other's wrist softly against the cotton fabric of his tunic. Lazily he gazed about the stone walls that confined his modest estate, the house itself being nothing more than a series of rooms seperated by sliding doors of wood and paper. As if an ill omen, a cool breeze interrupted the calm, sending a shiver down his spine. A strange uneasiness came about him as he turned to face the barred twin wooden doors of his home. An inquistive brow rose above his eye, as the sound of armored horse and infantry became audible. The massive twin doors before his eyes suddenly became the gates of Hell.

I was just browing the official US forum when I discovered your "Haven". I thought It would be nice to say hello. 

I am from a small but long establish guild on the EU server Aquilonia called Dark Desires. We have worked hard to make the RP better on our server. There has been some good and bad times but mostly always fun times. 

If any of you have characters on the EU servers, make sure to come visit us on Aquilonia.

It's nice to see the site restarted.  I hope it will be well-used for coordination and general discussion. 

We (in Imperium) have some new stuff we're trying to get started, and some other new stuff we've been trying to kick off for about a year now - but we just keep getting detoured by having to deal with other crap. 

Back on topic, hello!  And if you're on Cimmeria look for me (Sendra or Briesse) and we'll see what kind of relationships and stories we can develop and intertwine.  :)

Where are the edit buttons? ( text alternation, image, video, etc.)

Background: Her father cavarn was attack. She was capurted, volidated, and stole into slavery where she learn to clean animals, clean/debone kills, cook, sewing, treat aduse wounds, and sexual positions.She learn to shot a bow from a game the slavers made, if a slave was disobied, they would tie the slave and place a object on the body where the other slaves have to hit in order for that slave to live.

Alright, the time has come to shut down aoc.rp-haven.com.  I plan to take things down a week from today on Friday, December 17th.  That should give people enough time to make backups of any creativity they may have here.

The site started up on May 30, 2008 and served about 300 roleplayers from AoC, from Hyperborea to Cimmeria and beyond, with about 604 (now 605) new threads posted by its users.

We have sister sites for Shadow Council and Emerald Dream in World of Warcraft, as well as for Fallen Earth.  If you're playing in any of those spots, come by and pay us a visit there.

Alright, this site hasn't been used since October and I understand even the last holdouts among roleplayers in AoC are drifting off (except on Wiccana, which I believe still has its own fan site for RP).

With this in mind, I don't really see any reason to continue Age of Conan's RP-Haven site.  Thoughts from anyone out there who might still be listening?
