I am looking for those interested in participating as villains for an ongoing RP plotline in the following capacities:

• Hired mercenary soldiers and/or thugs (yes you will be paid for real in terms of game wealth)
• Hired assassins and spies (yes you will be paid for real in terms of game wealth)
• Sorcerers seeking infernal and/or necromantic occult knowledge (there will be at least one, overall, sorcerous goal to achieve involving research, journeys, rituals and other magicky doings)
• Priests of Set forsaking the 'traditional' non-proselytizing approach of the Priesthood who want a return of Stygia to empire as it was 1,000+ years before the 'Age of Conan'.
• Anyone else generally interested in taking a role in lawful evil villainy.

Those interested, please post here and include what sort of villainy you are most interested in being part of.

ok, after the first Haven Hosted raid, I think we should all give it another shot, make this a weekly thing for sure. For this reason i have saved my Dark Templar out for the whole week and will be leading all three tier one raids on Monday, 7/19, at around 7 pm PST.

Reasons are the same as neverlins. Ill go ahead and lead them, unless somebody else wants to, FFA on erping, jokes are allowed, girls no shirts. ;P

If you all would like, and i am totaly game to do this, we can have this be an IC raid, or OOC. IC would be a lot of fun, ill leave that open for response.

God I hope I'm doing this right. This blog format thing...well...I are confuse.

Anyhow. I have rolled a new Khitan character...I have had much more fun with her in the few (19) levels I've hammered out than I would have expected. However, a little reading of the Mongoose book on Khitai suggests that to not be ostracised by polite society she'd need an okay from a husband or father to pursue her goals of sending suitable sacrifices to Yun and collecting little mementos from them with OCD zeal. While I could make either of those relatives up and have them conveniently absent, it would be even more fun to have a real person on the other end.

I do not care which role you'd want to fulfull -- hubby or daddy dearest -- and I do not care whether young/old, hot or not. You just gotta have the right plumbing (ICly...I don't give two hoots what your RL gender is) :D

As I'm no longer playing AoC any more and it doesn't look like its likely I'll return, I'm opening the floor for volunteers to Moderate this site.  It won't cost you anything, nor do you need any serious technical skill (I'll still handle that side of things).  You will need to meet the following requirements:

• Actively playing Age of Conan
• Participating in the roleplaying community on Cimmeria or Wiccana (if there's one on another server, of course, I'm open!)
• Have an established history of being level-headed and/or not a polarizing figuring in the RP community.

Your duties, as a Moderater, will be to promote the website in AoC (forums and in-game), recruit RPers to join and write their journals and to handle any major problems or violations of the rules of the site (I may give some advice from time to time there, but I tend to be very hands-off when I've got a solid Moderator team going).

Mitran Mythology, what is known from books/ingame.

Mitra is the supreme deity, standing alone above all other divinities.
He has no pantheon of fellow deities but he does have saints, those who have displayed supremely his virtues during life. [How sainthood is conferred is unknown to me.] People swear by them, and some believe they work miracles.
He does not exist in his idols nor in animals in the world but is immanent, all around.

I'll be cross posting this over on Cimmeria's forums, but I wanted to have the conversation here as well.

Roleplayer's Haven started as a site for roleplayers on the Shadow Council Server over on WoW.  It was wildly successful and still fulfills its function there despite my having left the game a year ago (check out the WoW version of the site at http://www.rp-haven.com).

For some reason, its not really caught on a lot here in AoC.  We had an upsurge of participants on Hyperborea, but after the merge, very few folks from Cimmeria seem interested.

So, I'm asking here... what can I do to make the site somewhere you'd be interested in posting your stories to and coordinating with fellow RPers on?  How can it be improved?

Throw out your ideas, no matter how crazy... I can't promise I'll fulfill all of them or even agree with them, but I'll do my best.

One day I will figure out how to squeeze an extra 6 hours out of my day.  When that day comes, beware, for you all will be tested with my blades.
