New Funcom MMO?
So, ok I am not the most plugged into the MMO scene so I am assuming this is common knowledge. But for those that haven't heard of it- I came across a site talking about 'the new Funcom MMO' that will be released next. Here is the trailer (which is awesome....).
The Secret World will have no classes or levels. Tornquist…describes it as an “action-adventure-MMORPG” with “fast, reactive combat”. Although there will naturally be character progression and an incentive to play the game for a long time, “The Secret World begins where other MMOs end,” he says. “There’s no grind to get to a preconceived place.”…Furthermore, the entire game (which we know will include London, New York, Seoul, New England and Egypt as launch locations) will be open from the start.

Anyone know anything else about this? Maybe this explains why AoC stopped getting lots of love and attention and was put on autopilot...

I dunno if you guys remember my friend Jube who works for IGN (She's the one who interviewed Danny), but she had this to say about it back in Nov on our game clan forums :
“…a secret world within our world where every mystery, myth, conspiracy theory and urban legend is true.”
This game sounds pretty intriguing. It's going to be on the same engine as Age of Conan, PR is set to start early 2009. It's been in development for a few years now.
I'm following it, and have started a fansite for it. It's not finished but it should be within the next few days or so.

Been watching that game for a while... some people have been saying it is The Longest Journey MMO, but I've also read it isnt.. either way I'm pretty psyched about it... Skill based oh yea! Gonna check out your site now...
